Stolen
This film demonstrates that actual human slavery STILL exists across North Africa in spite of vociferous denials from political bodies. The facts speak for themselves as the filmmakers use guerilla tactics to evade the authorities and threats from various groups to tell the story of one family which has been separated for 3 decades because of human bondage. The film, which premiered at Toronto Film Festival, shows their dramatic reunion on screen and galvanizes forces to address this ongoing crime against humanity.
