In the early 80’s, people diagnosed with AIDS were shunned due to fear, ignorance and bigotry. Even the medical profession often refused to treat people desperately in need of care in cities, villages and towns throughout the world. Salt Lake City, Utah was no different until the arrival of one doctor, an expert in infectious disease, who tended to those who needed her. This is the truly uplifting story of two women along with an order of Catholic nuns who fought to save the lives of a maligned population everyone else seemed willing to just let die. Sundance Premiere 2018.
