Interior. Leather Bar.

Drama - 2013 - USA - English - 60 minutes

In 1980, Director William Friedkin was forced by the MPAA to cut forty minutes of graphic sexual footage from his controversial film Cruising starring Al Pacino. That footage has never been seen by the public. Directors Travis Matthews and James Franco attempt to re-imagine what those forty minutes look like in this new film.

Franco casts his friend Val Lauren in the Pacino role, but he struggles with the prospect of acting in this explicit and sexually charged environment. Elements of documentary and fiction combine to create a provocative film which will raise more questions than it answers.
