A FIERCE GREEN FIRE

Long before An Inconvenient Truth or “Silent Spring”, groups have been deeply concerned with our effect on the environment. The widely misunderstood environmental movement is given an emotional and searching examination in Mark Kitchell’s new documentary, A FIERCE GREEN FIRE.  Based on New York Times Journalist Philip Schabecoff’s book, the film traces the roots of the movement back over a century and focuses on five landmark events that have redefined our relationship with the world around us.
